Hereinafter referred to as "STRADIVARIUS Editions".

These Terms and Conditions govern access to the catalogue, the purchase of digital scores and the downloading of musical scores offered on www.stradivarius-editions.com.

Purchases under the standard licence are exclusively intended for private individuals acquiring scores for their own personal use. These Terms apply to all orders placed through the website, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws.

STRADIVARIUS Editions primarily offers digital musical scores in PDF format, including original arrangements and, where applicable, other musical content.

The essential characteristics of each score, its instrumentation, price and available information are provided on the relevant product page.

Scores are supplied in digital format. No printed copy will be shipped unless expressly stated otherwise.

The standard licence is reserved for natural persons purchasing scores for their own personal use and not on behalf of a business, institution or organization.

Music retailers, resellers, businesses, schools, conservatories, orchestras, associations, public institutions and other organizations may not purchase scores under the standard licence for professional purposes, resale, redistribution or collective use.

STRADIVARIUS Editions reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order that does not comply with these conditions, subject to the customer’s statutory rights and the refund of any amounts collected for a cancelled order.

The website www.stradivarius-editions.com is the sole official point of sale for digital scores published by STRADIVARIUS Editions.

Any offer to sell or resell these scores through another website, platform or intermediary is not authorized by STRADIVARIUS Editions unless prior written consent has been granted.

Original arrangements published by STRADIVARIUS Editions are protected by copyright where they meet the applicable legal requirements, without prejudice to any rights in the underlying works.

Unless prior written authorization or a statutory exception applies, customers may not:

• Resell or commercially exploit the purchased PDF.
• Transfer, share, lend, distribute or make the file available to third parties.
• Reproduce, photocopy, scan or distribute any part of the score beyond permitted uses.
• Use an individual licence to allow multiple musicians to share the same file.
• Remove, conceal, alter or damage watermarks or identification features.

Any rights not expressly granted remain reserved to their respective rights holders.

Downloaded PDF files contain visible and invisible markings that may include the customer’s name and a unique transaction identification code (UTI).

These features are intended to make files traceable and help identify copies distributed without authorization.

Customers agree not to remove, alter, conceal or circumvent these features. They are responsible for using their files in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

Customers may use their scores for personal practice and musical activities, including public performances, subject to applicable rights and any required authorizations.

Where applicable, the title of the piece, the name of the composer or author, the arranger or translator, and STRADIVARIUS Editions should be credited in concert programmes and relevant performance declarations.

Permission to perform a piece does not authorize redistribution of the PDF, nor does it grant any separate rights that may be required to record, broadcast or distribute the performance or an accompaniment.

Statutory rules governing the right of withdrawal apply to consumer orders.

For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the consumer may lose the right of withdrawal when performance begins before the end of the statutory withdrawal period, provided that the consumer has given prior express consent to the commencement of performance, expressly acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal, and received the confirmation required by law.

Where these conditions have not been met, the consumer’s withdrawal rights remain applicable in accordance with the law.

Before making a download immediately available, STRADIVARIUS Editions will obtain the customer’s express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of the right of withdrawal where required, using an appropriate procedure on the website.

STRADIVARIUS Editions complies with the statutory guarantees and conformity requirements applicable to digital content.
